Impressive flower chandelier in Saint Peter’s Church
Within the Baroque setting of Saint Peter’s Church, Tomas De Bruyne, an internationally renowned Belgian florist, is creating a majestic floral chandelier together with two leading florists, Hitomi Gilliam (Canada/USA) and Natalia Zhizko (Russia). De Bruyne’s design respects the architecture of Saint Peter’s Church while also adding modern touches of colourful crystal that reference the stained glass windows.
The sun in the dome provides a strong visual aspect together with a playful character so that you can discover the flowers in a different way at every moment of the day. Art is the barometer of the zeitgeist. Tomas De Bruyne uses rich, playful colours, Baroque shapes, flowers, materials, finishings and products in line with contemporary trends.
